Mariana Ospina is an artist based on Long Island, NY. She studied Fine Art at SUNY Old Westbury and has been featured in numerous group exhibitions in New York and throughout the country. The theme of Mariana's work centers around her own personal experience and the human condition.

Mariana explores tensions within relationships with oneself or with others around them. The main subject is of the human body, the medium varies depending on the specific mood or atmosphere she wants to capture. Recently Mariana has been working with collage and photography, she manipulates forms and uses symbolic representation of past, present and future. is intrigued by the idea of layering images to create a whole new image. Focusing on distorting portraits and figures with very expressive and gestural lines to show specific emotions or feelings.
